At its core, Project 2028 is a multi-pronged initiative to reclaim and rebuild the American Republic in the face of authoritarian drift. Think of it as the progressive, pluralist, and strategic counterweight to Heritage’s Project 2025.

Where Project 2025 centralizes control, Project 2028 decentralizes power. Where they restrict rights, we restore them. Where they erase pluralism, we reweave it into every fiber of our political and civic life.

But this isn’t about slogans. It’s about structure.

We’re not fighting a culture war—we’re building civic capacity, institutional trust, and policy scaffolding for the next generation.

🔄 Why “2028”?

Because this isn’t about winning the next election. It’s about rebuilding the republic for the next century.

Yes, 2024 will be a pivotal year. But what we build now must be strong enough to last through 2025, 2026, 2027—and be ready to fully launch a new American civic architecture by 2028.

That’s the goal: by the nation’s 252nd birthday, we don’t just survive—we begin to thrive.

July 4, 2028. A massive open-air celebration is held not just in Washington, D.C., but simultaneously in Atlanta, Tulsa, Detroit, Albuquerque, and Oakland.
